The Village of Grand Rapids benefits in many ways from its annual Applebutter Fest.
First, local non-profit and public organizations have the opportunity to raise and/or earn funds that directly support each organization's programs. Some raise funds by sponsoring a food booth (see Official Food Booths). Others earn funds for the work they do at the Fest. For Applebutter Fest 2015, these organizations included:
Most of our local businesses are open for business on the day of Applebutter Fest. Visitors shop in the stores and eat in the restaurants. And, many of these visitors come back to Grand Rapids throughout the year to spend more time in our town. Applebutter Fest creates an environment in which thousands of visitors are able to sample what our small village has to offer.
And, when some of these visitors are in the market for a new home away from a large metropolitan area, they may look to Grand Rapids as a possibility based on their Applebutter Fest experience.
Applebutter Fest is a win-win for everyone!
Opportunities exist for non-profit organizations to raise funds during Applebutter Fest.
