The goals of the Military Encampment are to:
  • educate the public
  • honor the memory of World War II and other soldiers 

Uniforms, weapons, equipment, and tactics used in World War II are displayed and/or demonstrated. 

Re-enactment groups include German mountain troops, WWII GIs, and French Resistance civilians.

Do you have original military equipment or memorabilia you'd like to display at the Fest? We are always looking for individuals who would like to represent the different nationalities in the Military Encampment. There is no fee to participate, but we do need to hear from you in advance.

Military display areas must be set up Saturday after 12:00 p.m. or on Sunday before 6:30 a.m.  Displays must remain until 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.  Vehicles and trailers not on display must be parked in designated areas.  Participants are provided with Fest parking passes.
